We offer FREE shipping on orders over $118.00 within Canada * (Some exceptions may apply for remote locations). Shipments will be via Canada Post Expedited Parcel.

Remote locations in Canada are not eligible for free shipping. Please contact Berkey Canada for the shipping costs if this may apply.

You will be notified by email when your order has been shipped and a Canada Post tracking number will be provided. Customers are responsible for providing a complete and 100% accurate shipping address. Your order will be shipped to the address you input into the “Shipping Address” field in the Berkey Canada Checkout Page. Berkey Canada cannot make changes to your shipping address once a package has been shipped, and Berkey Canada is not liable for packages lost due to incomplete or inaccurate addresses. In the case of a return order due to an incomplete or inaccurate address, the customer is responsible for all shipping fees and a 15 % restocking fee for the item(s).

Upon receiving your delivery, if an item is damaged or defective as a result of manufacturing, simply contact (Berkey Canada) and we will coordinate with the manufacturer to get that item replaced at no cost to you as quickly as possible.


International Shipping

Shipping Worldwide is available. Please send your mailing address and contact information for a shipping quote. Regular Mail and Courier Services are available at the buyer’s expense. Please note that the buyer will be responsible for all importation fees such as Insurance, Customs, Duties, Taxes, etc.


General Warranty Information



Black Berkey® Elements and the Berkey Earth™ have a 2-year prorated warranty calculated in 6 months intervals. Our guarantee is prorated similar to the guarantee on tire tread. In other words, if you have used the filters for 6 months, 75% of the guarantee still applies and so you can get a replacement set for 25% of the normal cost. The stainless systems themselves have a 12-month warranty.

The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters and all Berkey® accessories are covered under a 6-month warranty. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase of the product by the original purchaser.

Berkey System Housing 
Berkey System upper and lower chambers including lids, excluding Blemished orders, are covered under a one-year warranty. The warranty period begins from the date of receipt of the product by the original purchaser. (Berkey Canada) warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase unless specified. Black Berkey purification elements have a two-year prorated warranty calculated in six-month intervals. Berkey Canada will replace or repair any product that it deems is not properly functioning during the stated warranty period. Relief under this warranty is limited to the replacement or repair of defective materials or workmanship only. Berkey Canada shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. No warranty will apply to units which have been used for purposes not intended, which have been altered so as, in the manufacturer’s judgment, to affect adversely its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only, and cannot be transferred.

Warranty Exclusions

The following actions will void your warranty coverage:

  •  Allowing any of the Berkey® elements to freeze.
  •  Using dehumidifier water with any of the Black Berkey® Elements for daily use.
  •  Breaking or damaging Berkey® Products due to dropping, carelessness, cleaning or general mishandling as determined by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.   
  •  Failure to remove the Black Berkey® Elements from the system prior to transporting or moving the system, resulting in broken stems.
  •  Performing a red food colouring test with the Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements attached. The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Elements must be removed prior to performing a red food colouring test in order to stay in compliance with the six-month warranty.
  •  Using the water from a water softening system. Note: this action may clog the Black Berkey® Elements or cause the stainless steel to pit or rust.
  • Using salt water with Berkey® products.
  •  If the product is not used in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations or instructions.
  • Storing Berkey® elements in a manner not approved by New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.  

Order Cancellation Policy

If you place an order and then decide to cancel, a cancellation credit card processing fee will be applied. Please call 905-442-4556 or email for help with order cancellations or changes to an order. Order cancellations or changes are possible for orders that haven’t entered the shipping process yet. 

Returns & Exchange Policy

Returns of Berkey products are a rare occurrence due to their high customer satisfaction rate. If for any reason you do not want your order after it has been placed, it will be treated as a return. If you are dissatisfied with an item(s) you purchased from us that has not been used or assembled, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date. Returns or Exchanges will not be accepted after 30 days of the purchase date. Return shipping is at the buyer’s expense unless there was an error made by us. The item(s) must be unused or assembled and returned in the original retail box/packaging. If an item is returned damaged by personal handling or return shipping and not returned in a re-saleable condition, it will not be eligible for a refund or exchange.

In the case of a return, the customer is responsible for return shipping fees, insurance, and a 15 % restocking fee for the item(s). Restocking fees are imposed by the manufacturer. Once there is a confirmed receipt of the item(s), will refund 85% of your original purchase price minus the original shipping charges. A refund will be issued back to your credit card or by an Interac/ Bank eTransfer.

In the case of an exchange, the customer is responsible for return and re-shipping fees, insurance, and a 15% restocking fee for the item(s). Restocking fees are imposed by the manufacturer. Once there is a confirmed receipt of the item(s), will contact the customer regarding any exchange fees.

Undelivered Packages:

A Canada Post carrier will attempt delivery at the address provided when placing the order. If you are unavailable for delivery, Canada Post carriers will leave a Delivery Notice Card on your door or mailbox advising you of the attempted delivery, and that the package is now available at your local Canada Postal office/outlet for pick up.  This notice will include a phone number and postal address to contact for more information and pick up. Canada Post will send via your order email address Ship/Exception/Delivery tracking notifications. Your package will be available for pick up for 10 calendar days, after which it will be returned to Berkey Canada. In this case, the customer is responsible for all shipping fees, all products will be incurred/asset 15% restocking fee for all item(s) returned undelivered.


Unclaimed/Rejected Parcel

  • All orders are packaged and shipped from Berkey Canada via Canada Post.
  • If your parcel is to be picked up from the local Canada Post outlet it will be
    available for 15 days only.
  • If your parcel is unclaimed it is returned to Berkey Canada via Canada Post.
    When Berkey Canada receives your unclaimed or rejected order package, you will get an email confirming
  • Should you wish to have your order re-shipped; you must provide such
    direction within 30 days of the email. You will be responsible for paying the
    shipping costs.
  • Should you wish to receive a refund you may request one within 30 days of the
    email notification and it will be processed as a return. 
  • If Berkey Canada does not receive a response within 30 days of receiving an
    unclaimed or rejected orders no refunds will be processed.
